How to use cetaphil gentle skin cleanser

Directions for use with water: For use on face and body. Apply cleanser and gently massage into skin. Rinse.
Directions for use without water: Apply a liberal amount of cleanser and gently massage into skin. Remove excess with a soft cloth, leaving a thin transparent film on the skin.

Niacinamide, Glycerin and Panthenol

Niacinamide: Niacinamide is a form of vitamin B₃ found in food and used as a dietary supplement and medication. As a supplement, it is used by mouth to prevent and treat pellagra. While nicotinic acid may be used for this purpose, niacinamide has the benefit of not causing skin flushing.

Glycerine: Glycerol, also called glycerine or glycerin, is a simple triol compound. It is a colorless, odorless, viscous liquid that is sweet-tasting and non-toxic. The glycerol backbone is found in lipids known as glycerides.

Panthenol: Panthenol is the alcohol analog of pantothenic acid, and is thus a provitamin of B₅. In organisms, it is quickly oxidized to pantothenic acid. It is a viscous transparent liquid at room temperature. Panthenol is used in pharmaceutical and cosmetic products as a moisturizer and to improve wound healing.
